September adds SCIM provisioning, so Microsoft Entra ID can create, update, and deprovision users and groups in a Blindata tenant. Lineage, glossary, and catalog views also move forward: SQL lineage follows table-valued functions into the function body, the Ontology Graph Editor can download the current graph as an image, and each concept has a Data Assets tab that separates direct, subtype, and column-level links.
New Features
- SCIM endpoint for directory provisioning: Each tenant exposes a SCIM 2.0 endpoint so Microsoft Entra ID, or another compatible identity provider, can create, update, disable, and deprovision users and groups. Provisioning is directory sync and stays separate from sign-in: users still authenticate with the methods already configured, such as Microsoft Entra SSO. An Entra group is bound to a stewardship role (a stub role is created when none matches the group name) and, when a team with the same name already exists, to that team’s policies. SCIM does not create teams or stewardship responsibilities. The connection is under Settings → More → SCIM Provisioning and requires
USERS_ADMIN. The secret token is shown once. SCIM Provisioning
Other Key Updates

Table-valued functions in SQL lineage: When a query calls a function in the
FROMclause and that call matches a catalogued system routine, Blindata resolves the function as its own node and composes the analyzed SQL body into the caller. Tables read inside the function then appear in Full Lineage and in data-flow previews. Call-site arguments bind to the routine parameters by position, or by name when every argument is named. Recognized shapes includeschema.fn(...),TABLE(fn(...)),LATERAL,CROSS APPLY/OUTER APPLY, HiveLATERAL VIEW, and pipedCALL. Refresh the calling statements after the routine has been analyzed. Download the ontology graph as an image: From the Ontology Graph Editor you can download the current view as an image, so a namespace or concept diagram can be shared without exporting the namespace to Turtle or CSV. Ontology Graph Editor

Data Assets on a concept: The concept page groups the catalog assets that carry that business concept. Direct Mappings are datasets linked to the concept itself. Sub-concept Mappings are datasets linked to a more specific concept and are labeled with the concept they were mapped through. Field & Attribute Mappings are datasets that only contribute a column linked to an attribute. Assets published by a data product are gathered under that product, and on a given concept each asset appears in one group only. Data Assets on a Concept
